The student has some understanding of AI in business used in the module. He/She is able to communicate at a minimal level with AI in business terminology and theory. The student is able to operate only when aided by other students and supervisors.

The student is able to understand most concepts in AI in business within the module. He/She is able to communicate at an intermediate level with AI in business terminology and theory. He/She is able to discuss and write assessment tasks with reference to some AI academic materials mostly independently.
Grade 5
The student is able to understand concepts in AI in business within the module. He/She is able to communicate fully independently with AI in business terminology and theory. He/She is able to discuss and write assessment tasks with reference to AI academic materials independently. He/She applies an entrepreneurial problem-solving approach to their project work.

Assignment 1 Team-task analysis and performance management planning: Students, in project teams or on a given case, analyse their tasks and objectives, design and plan individual performance expectations in the form of rubric. The first workshop will be arranged in class to be completed independently. (10.3.)
Assignment 2 Students in teams of 2-3 study the 6-10 motivational theories, choose 2 theories to use as the framework for a qualitative (semi-structured or structured interview) research in a selected topic, conduct 3 interviews each (6 in total) with the relevant sources/target group. Pairs share their results in the class.
Objective of the research is to find out what motivates people and to define strategies for increasing motivation for different contexts.

Full-time day programme
The degree programme is conducted in English.
The studies include a certain amount of Finnish areal studies and a choice of other areal studies. Finnish students are also offered a number of learning activities in Finnish and Swedish languages.
Completion of the courses specified in the curriculum, compulsory work placement, a thesis and maturity test.

Most of the learning takes place in real-life projects for businesses operating internationally. This opens up doors for the students and helps them develop their networks already during the studies. This makes it easier for graduates to find jobs both in Finland and abroad.
The daily work of the students is all about operating in multicultural teams. They are supervised by staff representing several nationalities. The commissions they get from companies familiarise them with various markets and ways of doing business. They can also go an exchange, do work placement abroad and participate in international development projects.
Learning takes place in real-life projects. Every semester the students work for a business company on challenges assigned by the company. Learning is work and work is learning.
