    Upon completion of the course, the student:
    • is familiar with aviation regulatory framework
    • recognizes the distinctive features of safety and quality in aviation
    • recognizes the impacts of covid-19 to aviation and tourism business
    • is familiar with sustainability issues in aviation and their effects on travel and tourism industry
    • understands the changes caused by pandemic and the possibilities it may create

    • Changes of threats in aviation
    • Basic regulations guiding the operations of European airlines
    • the impacts of covid-19 to aviation and tourism, and finding the way forward
    • the role of aviation in sustainable development of travel industry
    Assessment criteria
    Assessment criteria - grade 1
    The students understanding of key concepts of threats, specific regulatory framework and sustainability issues concerning aviation and tourism is limited. Student’s attitude towards learning through participation in teamwork and conducting assignments, is below average. Student`s capability to analyze current and/or future business possibilities is limited.
    Assessment criteria - grade 3
    The student has good understanding of key concepts of threats, specific regulatory framework and sustainability issues concerning aviation and tourism. Student has a good attitude towards learning through participation in teamwork and conducting assignments. S/he has a good self- and group critical thinking. Student can objectively analyze current and/or future business possibilities.
    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    The student has excellent understanding of key concepts of threats, specific regulatory framework and sustainability issues concerning aviation and tourism. Student has an excellent attitude towards learning through self-initiative and continuous and supportive participation in teamwork and in conducting assignments. Student has an excellent ability to analyze current and/or future business possibilities.
