    Learning objectives
    On completion of this intensive 3AMK (3UAS) course the student will:
    • know the structures and principles of Finnish working life and labor market
    • develop the ability to analyze job advertisements and identify their potential within the job description
    • recognize and narrate their own strengths and confidently articulate them when seeking employment
    • learn to build new networks to benefit their job search and future career path
    Contents
    The course contains individual tasks online and compulsory participation on the workshops during the intensive week. In addition, students will utilize digital tools and platforms to create their CV, cover letter, and gain tips for their job search. It is essential for students to have a solid grasp of technology to study the course successfully.

    • using AI in job search
    • understanding the job advertisement and how to tailor your job applications to it
    • learn how to use networking to find jobs
    • create an appealing CV and cover letter
    • independent work in the digital learning environment on e-learning content
    • active discussions in the discussion area
    • writing the final report and completing learning tasks
    The course consists independent study and work online as well as workshops and lectures during the intensive week. Students will also create a CV with the help of AI, design their future career and
    present it to classmates.

    Kick-off: 27th of August at 15:00-17:30 on Haaga-Helia Pasila Campus, address:
    Ratapihantie 13, Helsinki. Participation on the kick-off in person is obligatory.

    Independent work in Moodle: 28th August-11th of October

    Intensive week: Workshops in Haaga-Helia Pasila campus on Mon, Wed and Fri during week 42 (14th – 18th of October), participation is obligatory.

    Visit to a company, organization, recruitment event: Will be announced later.
