    Learning objectives
    You have qualifications for project management (PM) and are familiar with project planning, well-managed implementing and finishing projects. You are introduced into modern ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) information systems. You utilize ERP systems’ basic functionalities and run business processes within the system.
    Starting level and linkage with other courses
    Prerequisite: ICT1LF101 Business ICT Skills or equivalent competence.
    Contents
    The course is divided into two major parts, project management and an ERP part.
    The ERP part of the course will be done with SAP.
    Assessment criteria
    Assessment criteria - grade 1
    You know the key concepts within the course’s scope, but are yet to develop the general view and the big picture of the subject matter.
    You can complete given tasks and assignments with assistance. You need to develop how to apply knowledge.
    You demonstrate some ability to perform skills and have basic knowledge, but you have difficulty to manage without assistance.
    Assessment criteria - grade 3
    You know the key concepts well and can explain how the theories and models function and the tools are used. You have a general view of the subject matter.
    You complete given tasks and assignments independently. You apply knowledge in hands - on business related situations. You can critique your own practice and identify ways to improve.
    You demonstrate sufficient ability to perform skills and have basic to good knowledge. You can perform independently, but you have some challenges in passing on your skills and knowledge to others. You have an interest in professional development.
    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    You have a strong command of the key and related concepts. You can critically evaluate theories, models and tools. You can demonstrate explicit knowledge of the subject matter, and how it relates to other disciplines.
    You apply knowledge in demanding business related situations. You can prioritize and critically select tools and methods for solving complex problems in the subject matter.
    You execute skills with natural proficiency and you have detailed and explicit knowledge. You can perform independently and you are also able and actively willing to help others develop and pass on your skills. You have an attitude of continuous professional development.

    ERP systems are widely used in all business sectors globally.

    Teaching methods and instruction

    Both contact and virtual (Zoom) classes. A more detailed schedule is provided once the course starts.

    Learning material and recommended literature

    All the learning materials will be provided and offered in or through course's Moodle learning environment. SAP Hana / Fiori is used at this course as dedicated ERP system. Each student is given their own user ID and case company in SAP in which case studies and tests are executed.

    Working life connections

    ERP (SAP Hana Fiori) is taught through SAP's own company simulation in which SAP's knowledge and experience as global ERP leader is provided for students' usage. Real-life company cases and examples are utilized in project management learning.

    Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

    There is a project management test and 4 SAP / ERP tests, but no exam nor re-exam provided. All tests are scheduled for a class and they must be taken by each student on the particular date without a re-completion opportunity.

    Project Management:
    - 40 % of student’s final course grade.
    - Assessment through project management test in Moodle (max. 40 points with 20 questions):
    Grade 1 > 16 – 23 p.
    Grade 2 > 24 – 27 p.
    Grade 3 > 28 – 31 p.
    Grade 4 > 32 – 35 p.
    Grade 5 > 36 – 40 p.

    Enterprise resource planning with SAP Hana Fiori:
    - 60 % of student’s final course grade.
    - Assessment for all four SAP case studies (aka learning assignments) and four tests (max. 15 points all).
    Grading for all with Pass (P) or Fail (F):
    Pass for each SAP case study = submitted as requested for each case study
    Pass for each SAP test = 50 % performance at minimum (7,5/15 points)
    Grade 1 > 1 case study and/or test with Pass
    Grade 2 > 2-3 case study and/or tests with Pass
    Grade 3 > 4-5 case studies and/or tests with Pass
    Grade 4 > 6 case studies and/or tests with Pass
    Grade 5 > 7-8 case studies and/or tests with Pass.

    Final course grade > a weighted average is calculated from the aforementioned grades with 40 % weight for project management and 60 % weight for ERP/SAP.
