    Learning objectives
    After this course, students have acquired the following skills:
    -Understanding about generative AI in a business context (including large-languages models powering genAI solutions and RAG-systems used to interact with knowledge bases)
    -Skills to set up basic knowledge utilization based on conversational interfaces and using genAI
    Starting level and linkage with other courses
    Fundamentals in Artificial Intelligence / Coursera x / comparable skills (see content of Coursera course)

    Teaching methods and instruction

    • In co-operation with Universidad de Sevilla
    • Virtual part 3.3.-30.4.2025
    VIrtual part enhances skills on latest AI technogies and business innovations based on machine learning and generative AI. There are hands-on assignments and AI business use case analyses. Programming skills are not required. Students will also start preparing for the campus week by analysing AI business potential in team work assigments. There is also an option for students to choose extra modules to earn more credits up to +3 credits.
    • Intensive part at Pasila Campus 19.-25.5.2025
    Intensive part program has lectures from Ulysseus researchers and company co-operation. Also students will work with their team to analyse and demonstrate generative AI business case innovations.

    This course is not recommended for Haaga-Helia students who have studied Applied AI course because of partial overlapping content.
