    Learning objectives
    After completing the course, the student will be able to
    - the basics of a website publishing system
    - use a content management system to create a website
    - design a website supporting the different areas of the company/brand and create content for it according to the target group
    - design and implement a visually branded, attractive, usable and accessible website
    - understand the website design process and the basics for optimised content production in the implementation process.
    Starting level and linkage with other courses
    Starting level:It is recommended that the student has completed the courses Customer Insight and Marketing, Customer Experience and Sales, Data-driven Marketing or has equivalent knowledge. This course is part of the Marketing and Communication orientation of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

    Assessment criteria - grade 1
    When the implementation type of the course is contact, online or blended it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.

    Students will understand the functionalities of the content management system selected for the course. The student can create content, but there is room for improvement in the understanding and implementation of the website design process. There is room for improvement in terms of commitment to work and scheduling.
    Assessment criteria - grade 3
    The student knows the functionalities of the content management system chosen for the course and is able to use them in the implementation of their website. The student is able to create content according to the assignment in a target group oriented way. Can design and implement a website that supports the company/brand components in terms of content and visuals. The student will work with commitment and on time.
    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    The student is able to use the content management system chosen for the course in a versatile way in the implementation of their website. The student will be able to create relevant and distinctive content that supports the company/brand in a target group-oriented way. Design and implement an insightful, optimised, usable and accessible website. The student will work with a high level of commitment and a professional approach..

    Teaching methods and instruction

    Contact implementation, with teaching session once a week. Participation and activity in face-to-face teaching affect the grade. Sessions are not recorded.

    Learning assignments

    The implementation involves planning, developing (WordPress), publishing and presenting a small website as an individual work. This constitutes 65% of the grade. At the beginning of the implementation, a teamwork is carried out (25% of the grade), which is presented. The group work can be done alone, but it affects the grade (points are deducted). Small quizzes included (15% of the grade). During the first week, a threshold assignment must be completed in order to continue with the implementation.
