After completing the course, the student:

• has a well-rounded understanding of inclusive passenger journey, the definition and related parts of it
• is able to understand and apply the key concepts and factors related to inclusive aviation and all parts of the journey in her/his thinking and reasoning
• is able to recognize the development areas and opportunities in inclusive and accessible travel
• can skillfully assess the appropriateness of the present initiatives of inclusive and accessible travel within aviation industry stakeholders
• is able to understand and use evaluation methods for different social implications related to inclusive and accessible travel
• is able to understand and address specific challenges related to inclusive travel in aviation organizations
• is able to identify the stakeholders, their purpose and roles when creating inclusive and accessible travel during the whole passenger journey
• is able to participate in a project or team in inclusive passenger travel
• is able to communicate inclusive passenger travel within the stakeholder groups

This course unit is part of the master's degree's curriculum. Completion of the course requires master's study entitlement.

Grade 1:
The student is able to define the key concepts of inclusive passenger journey. Student recognizes the main stakeholders and their purpose in inclusive aviation environment. Student can describe the different elements, relation to business and management from the viewpoint of inclusive travel.

Grade 3:
In addition to the competences in grade 1, the student can apply the key concepts of accessible aviation in their thinking and reasoning. Students can understand the impact of technological developments related to inclusive travel in their business and management.

Grade 5:
In addition to the competences in grades 1 and 3, the student can analyze the purpose of an organisation’s stakeholders and their role in inclusive travel. Student develops business and management from the viewpoints of accessible travel and is able to recognize business opportunities related to inclusive passenger journeys in the aviation industry. Student is able to think critically and solve problems in a changing operational environment.

When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.
