The implementation starts on August 2024 and lasts 16 weeks. Lessons are held weekly except during intensive weeks or when a public holiday falls on the day of the lecture. A detailed schedule will be reviewed at the beginning of the course.

Journals Assignments Workshops Demonstrations Team asignments Socrative Quiz - as attendance and extra points Course Portfolio Optional extra assignments An assignment has always a deadline. The main principle applied – only timely submitted solutions will be graded. However, the submission point will not be closed, so if you submit the solution late but before teacher does the grading – your solution will be graded but with a possible penalty for late submission. Submissions done after teacher grading will basically not score any points. Submissions by e-mail will not be considered – all submission must be in Moodle. During the course you will gather all assignments and assignment solutions into a course portfolio that you submit to the teacher at the end of the course. The portfolio can be a large Pdf- document or a zip-file with the assignment solutions as separate pdf-files. Remember to structure the information in a way that makes the most of the content. You should include also you learning and reflections into the portfolio. The notice of deadline for the portfolio submission will be defined at least 2 weeks before the actual deadline.

Combining Business and Information Technology gives you the skills to apply business principles and knowledge across the IT sector or to assist businesses to implement new technological advances.
Most common business information systems are familiarized via hands-on exercises. Analytics platforms are used to build simple dashboards.
The course provides introduction to tools that help organizations solve problems and enhance processes to improve efficiency, serve customers and achieve business goals.

This course is an introductory course to the ICT and Business profile. No prerequisites.

Student:
