The student examines strategic people management as a critical success factor influencing organizational success. The student understands the underlying theories and recognizes their significance in practice. The student explores the role of organizational culture, responsibility, and the impact of data and technology in strategic people management and analyses their impact in real-life situations with a development-oriented approach.

You will learn how effective people management can be crucial to a company’s success and its role in building organizational culture and ensuring responsibility. Additionally, the course examines the role of data and technology in modern people management. This course offers you the opportunity to develop your skills and promote your organization’s success through people management. Join us to gain insights!

This course unit is part of the master's degree curriculum. Completion of the course requires master's study entitlement.

This course replaces the following courses from the previous curriculum:
- Strategic human resource management / Strateginen henkilöstöjohtaminen

When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.
