Online-lectures and learning in the Zoom and related assignments as full-time studies. Coaching during the Zoom sessions. Individual and team working for sdtudents.

Development work of co-operating with students’ place of employment or other company/organization operating in the business to meet the learning objectives. (Development and research work for Hungry for Finland, creating food tourism routes).
Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
Individual exam (30% of the grade), Home-exam in the Moodle on 10th of May at 12.30-13.30
Internationality
The course is conducted in HOTEM-programs with a mix of international students and exchange students. International library databases are utilized.

Learning assignments
1) Ideation and innovation method presentation in groups (pass/fail), Thu 1st of April
2) Creating Food Tourism routes/trails for Hungry for Finland in groups (70% of the grade), the final deadline 23rd of May, it includes also other minor deadlines:
· Research plan 12th of Apr at 11.00
· Theoretical framework 19th of Apr at 11.00
· Preliminary food tourism route 5th of May at 8.30
· Draft version of the whole report 10th of May at 11.00
3) Individual exam (30% of the grade), Home-exam in the Moodle on 10th of May at 12.30-13.30
Zoom sessions include different kind of activities and tasks which will not be assessed. Also some voluntary homework is given.
Assessment methods
Successful completion of the module is evaluated on a scale of 1 to 5. The assessment criteria is presented on a scale 1 - 3 - 5.
Grade 1
Student is able to search for sources of information needed for development and research. She/he can write a research and development plan. Student identifies different research methods and ethical issues related to research activities.
Grade 3
Student is able to choose and use suitable methods for obtaining research material and working life information. She/he can analyze data material and justify his / her choices. Student is able to describe one's own research process and concrete development proposals.
Grade 5
Student can critically evaluate the reliability of data, analyzes and research. She/he apply ethical principles in his/her research and development work. Student is able to evaluate development proposals and their implementation in working life.
