Teaching methods and instruction

After having completed this course or attained an equivalent competence level, the student:

1.Knows how to reach objectives in an organization and in a team in different roles.
2.Knows how to work responsibly and ethically in diverse teams.
3.Knows how to work in a project
4.Knows how to use best practices in project management.

The course will include a small number of assessment tasks based around the following teaching instruction:

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

All assessment will be done in the course through assignments and or via Moodle quiz/exams.

Project Report + (team peer assessment x 2) + Commissioner Presentation = 60% (Graded)
Project Management Exam = 20% (Graded)
Project Management Theory Report = 20% (Graded)

Notes - Students are allowed two attempts for the project management exam (average grade calculated)

Possibility to operate with international teams and international lectures. Possible guest lecturers from international organizations and partner universities.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

1: Is able to assess issues of ethics and responsibility in teamwork. Can describe the concepts of team dynamics. Is able to give peer feedback in a team. Can describe different methods for project work.

3: Is able to work in a responsible way in a team. Knows how to give and receive both team and peer feedback and assess one’s own performance. Knows how to set goals and plan a small scale project with chosen tools.

5: Knows how to assess the issues of ethics and accountability in teamwork. Knows how to develop one’s own performance on the basis of feedback. Is able to work in a project towards goals and applying the selected working methods and assess the implementation of a project

Assessment methods

Detailed assessment can be checked from implementation plans. The self-assessment of one's own learning does not influence the module grade. The self-assessment and students’ feedback to the module will be used for the module development. The feedback is collected in an electronic form.
