Intro

In this course you will get acquainted with key concepts of both experience and transformation economy. You will become familiar with different theories and models of the experience economy as well as have the opportunity to identify perception of the value from customer’s perspective. You will also deepen your knowledge on key concepts underpinning the creation of transformative experiences as well as become familiar with the biggest players in the industry. Equally, you will get a grasp of the main legal framework as well the core marketing and data protection rules that regulate experience economy.

Assessment methods

The Experience and Transformative Economies in Hospitality and Tourism course consists of Experience and Transformative Economy studies (3 ECTS) and Law studies (2 ECTS).
The total points for the Experience and Transformative Economy studies amount to 60 points and the total points for the Law studies amount to 40 points. In order to pass the course, you need to get in the minimum of 30 points of the Experience and Transformative Economy studies and 20 points of the Law studies.

The Data Protection Quiz needs to be completed with a pass (at least 50% of the total points), and the Safety and Security Quiz needs to be completed with a pass (at least 21p/30p).
