NB! There are 5 places available for Haaga-Helia students in the intensive course. More than five (5) can participate the online pilot 2 course starting in late October 2023.

Intro

Take your first steps in learning Swedish and get familiar with the Swedish speaking environment and culture in Finland.

- virtual studies - self-study prior to the intensive programme
- Intensive studies in contact teaching: Language studies and culture studiers with visits.

Chapter exams during the virtual phase (retakes on Moodle)
Final oral and written exam at the end of the intensive week

Internationality

This is a Nordplus funded project course that is implemented in Nordic-Baltic level.
Participants and instructors come three universities in Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland, and are all beginner level learners.

Final exams are the basis of the course grade as language level is assesses then
Completion of virtual studies is a condition of passing 3 ECTS and the exams.
Completion of virtual studies and intensive programme are the conditions of 5 ECTS and the exams.
