Intro

This course is for you if have arrived in Finland recently and have work experience in other countries, but you have little or no work experience in Finland. If you already have work experience in Finland, we recommend that you take the course Job seeking skills STU008HH1AE.

During this course you will learn about the job seeking process with specific requirements and tips to Finland, about Finnish workplace culture, and you will get additional support in creating your CV, cover letter and LinkedIn. This course is suitable for you at any point of your studies (the sooner the better!), if you are looking for your first work placements, or if you have years of work experience already, but you would like to know how to move forward in your career.

During this course you will learn about the job seeking process with specific requirements and tips to Finland, about Finnish workplace culture, and you will get detailed support in creating your CV, cover letter and LinkedIn. This course is suitable for you at any point of your studies (the sooner the better!), if you are looking for your first work placements, or if you have years of work experience already, but you would like to know how to move forward in your career.¨

The course is designed to have lectures with mandatory participation on every second week, which will be a workshop, processing the assignments and homework done individually between the two weeks. The goal is to give as much practical and personal feedback on your job seeking skills, as possible.
