You can complete the course by demonstrating your competence, even if there are no DEMO implementations available. More information about recognition of prior learning is available on Haaga-Helia’s website: https://www.haaga-helia.fi/en/career-planning/recognition-learning

The demonstration is done by completing a written exam and proving the required oral language skills, for example, in the form of a video.

Intro

Welcome to start learning Spanish! You will learn to introduce and describe yourself, your studies, work and hobbies. You will get information about Spain and Spanish-speaking countries, their peoples and cultures. You will learn useful everyday language.

Teaching methods and instruction

Contact sessions once a week.

In class we will practise in pairs, in groups and together. Every week there will be homework to enhance learning.

Working life connections

Useful small talk & basic Spanish about ourselves.

English is not spoken widely in the Spanish speaking world!

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

Two exams at the end of both periods. Re-examination in Exam.

Internationality

We will learn how to navigate through the Spanish speaking world.

Language & culture knowledge is a true barrier breaking superpower.
