Intro
In this course, you learn the basics that will make it possible for you to design and implement a small relational database and write intermediate-level database queries to retrieve and manipulate the database's data. The weekly cooperative database lab sessions and hands-on exercises in the SQL Server environment will give you practical experience and help you to learn the course content in a motivating way.

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
Midterm exam after the first teaching period and final exam at the end of the course. Two re-exam opportunities for both exams.
Learning assignments
Weekly assignments, learning diaries, and a case assignment as group work.
Assessment methods
Assessment is based on the total exam points (midterm and final exam). Passing points from both exams are required. Attendance requirements follow Haaga-Helia's common guidelines.
