Schedule
Once your registration has been approved, go to the implementation Moodle workspace and complete the demonstration according to the instructions. You have 2 weeks to start the demonstration tasks once you have been accepted to the course.
Intro
Working life needs more coaching supervisors who encourage diverse teams to develop and succeed. This course focuses on coaching leadership and interaction, leading diverse teams, and the importance of inclusion in developing the work community.

This is a demonstration or DEMO-implementation for students who already have
the knowledge and skills taught on the course. The course does not have tuition, teaching or
classes.

Learning assignments
The assessment consists of two parts: a short exam and a 7–10 page report.
The exam includes both open-ended and multiple-choice questions.
In the report, competence is demonstrated from different perspectives by:
- Briefly describing management theory
- Detailing current and past supervisory roles
- Describing how diversity is considered in team leadership
- Justifying perspectives of coaching and interactive leadership
- Reflecting on the management of employee well-being and work atmosphere, and their significance in customer experience
- Explaining self-leadership methods and ways in which personal development of staff competencies has been fostered
Practical reflection is important throughout the report.
Assessment methods
Demonstration of a course can be attempted once only. The assessment follows the criteria of the course (1-5, pass/fail). A passing demonstration grade cannot be raised, but you can interrupt the demonstration if the grade would be 1 or 2. Inform the teacher immediately that you wish to interrupt the demonstration. After this, you will receive a failing grade. Next you can enrol on and complete the course in the normal manner. If a demonstration grade in in Peppi, it cannot be removed or altered.
