Intro

This course provides you the overview of green product and package design tools and environmental impacts of some materials and packaging! New innovations are introduced.

Materials

Current material of Circular Economy dealing packaging and product design, eco.friendly materials, legal issues, responsibilities of the packer and green innovations. Links and material provided in Moodle.

Teaching methods and instruction

The start of the course will be on Wednesday August 31 2022 online via Zoom at 17.40.

The course provides an overview to both green packaging and product design. Green design elements are based on e.g. the principles of Circular Economy. Green and recyclable materials, design frameworks, legal issues, interesting green innovations are some themes of the course. Knowledge of those are important if you buy or sell packages or products.

Mostly team assignments, individual assignment ( My Lifestyle Test) as a preparation for group discussion.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on team assignments and individual assignments. Individual contribution based on work division in team will be noted. Assessment from 1 to 5.
