• Introduction of the module - Content, assignments, assessment
• Team building - Moveroll project + thorough walk through of the Assignment 2: Export project
• Choice of pairs and topics in the pair presentation (assignment 1 => deadline 15.2)
• Choice of Guest lecturers – according to the need & wish of students (customs, payment, delivery)
Week 5: Tuesday 29.1.2019 (Katri)
• Theories about procurement and SCM
• Export and procurement process
• Key concepts and KPIs in the area of logistics and procurement and calculations of them
o Thorough walk through of Assignment 4: Logistics => deadline 28.2.2019
• Project check and guidance (tender to freight forwarding companies done)
Week 7: NB! Deadline Assignment 1: Pair presentations 15.2.2019!
Week 8: Monday 18.2.2019 (Katri)
• Focus on International Procurement and Export – the following pair presentations:
1. Export and import regulations + Incoterms
2. Transportation modes and routes + Payment methods
3. Risks in International Sales + Documents and Contracts used in International Business
