The contact sessions will take place on Tuesdays, 08:15am - 11:30am through Zoom/Teams.

Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show the competence with a demonstration and progress faster through their studies. The instructors use their own teaching materials, and a variety of academic and media sources.

Plenary lectures, project-based learning, inquiry learning, presentation sessions.

Working life connections

This module has been developed for Haaga-Helia’s teaching environment based on the methods of inquiry learning and project-based learning, hence, having direct relationship with the working life scenarios that students may face in the future.

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

Exam date to be on 27th April 2021. Re-examination will take place according to HH guidelines.

Learning assignments

Students will perform a number of assignments for the module.

Assignment 1: Pre-assignment 15%
(individual) Videos related to student presentation and prior knowledge about marketing and sales
Assignment 2: Group Presentations 35%
(in teams of 5-6 people) Presentations assigned by the lecturer related to learning topics
Assignment 3: Individual Quiz 35%

(individual) Self & Peer assessment related to the group project

The nature, scope, and sequence of the assignments proposed above could allow for variation, if necessary. More instructions will be given during the module.

Attendance of the sessions is compulsory. The required minimum attendance is 80%. Other arrangements are only acceptable when agreed in advance with the instructor.
