Contact hours: 18 h (3 h/week)
Written examination: 3 h (at the end of the period)

Working life examples.
Students are introduced to the practices of Finnish companies concerning their Russian agreements.

Period 4: Company visits and interviews.

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

Period 4.
The final spoken examination Wednesday 13.5.2020, 8:00-10:30, classroom 6043.
It is allowed to use English/Finnish, but not Russian (!!) notes in the examination.
Re-examinations according the HH re-exam schedule.

Internationality

Russian studies in line with the requirements of the Finnish companies. The study group is usually multicultural.

Period 4:
A. Contact lessons, distant assignments, presentation in class and oral exam
OR
B. Distant assignments and portfolio of 3 essays and an oral exam
The assessment of one’s own learning 1 h

Learning assignments

Period 4
Job application and head-hunting situations, compilation of a CV in Russian, presentation of an organisation, a specialist's (assistant's, marketer's, logistics expert's, etc) job description, presentation of the businesses engaged in the Finnish-Russian trade in Finland and abroad, the pre-requisites and current situation in the trade between Russia and Finland.
The teachers retain the right to modify the course assignments, their weights and assessment criteria. Check the updated course implementation plan at the start of the course.

Assessment methods

Period 4.
Final oral exam 50 %
Assignments (2) 20 %
Active participating and pair work in classes 30%.

The failure to submit critical assignments will result in a zero grade.
Should a student decide to drop out, their participation is marked with a zero grade.
