Teaching methods and instruction
The course involves contact hours (3 h / week), practicing, assignments completion, as well as written and oral tests, totaling 75 hours of study time, which includes directed and self-directed learning.
The course will continue during two periods.
The learning methods this course applies are as investigative and developmental as possible.
Contact hours: 33 h (3 h / week)
Oral exam and listening comprehension: 3 h (at the end of the first period)
Final written exam: 2 h (at the end of the second period)
Self-directed learning (weekly tasks, learning assignments submission and preparing for the exam): 36 h

In Period 1 attendance of 80% of the contact hours is mandatory.

Period 1
The students are encouraged to use mobile or web-based audio-recording free tools to complete and submit the below assignments:
Oral assignment 1: Краткое резюме.
Oral assignment 2: Диалог. Собеседование при приеме на работу.
Oral assignment 3: Диалог. Деловой разговор по телефону.

Period 2 Complete a portfolio containing the letter types marked in bold in the program:
• 7 business messages, return
1st version Thursday 28.11.2019 by 16:00,
the final version Wednesday 4.12.2019 by 16:00
Return the portfolio into Moodle in one Word file (all letters in one file, each letter on separate page). One letter should be written according the Russian Business Letter standard.
If the portfolios are not returned by the schedule they will be marked as accepted but they will not be commented!
