Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

Course can be completed 100 % virtually and independently. Alternatively, students may also attend theme-specific optional Zoom-sessions and complete some assignments, individual or in groups, during those.

Materials

Course materials and links are posted in Moodle. eBooks, eJournals and eMagazines, online materials, materials shared by the teacher or acquired by students.
In the course material you will find multiple recommendations and links to books listed in HH Finna. You can easily access them remotely using your Haaga-Helia student credentials.

Teaching methods and instruction

Virtual implementation, individual work. However, there is a chance to complete some assignments as a group work: There are scheduled optional Zoom sessions during evening. They are not mandatory, but highly recommended to join. During the sessions we will work on assignments in groups, and you can directly upload them after the session ends.

Learning assignments

There are 4 small assessments that count 50 points in total and 1 final report that count as 50 points. Total = 100 points.

- 1st small assignment is related to Session No. 2 (Cultural Diversity). It counts 10 points
- 2nd small assignment is related to Session No. 4 (Understanding Business Cultures around the world). It counts 20 points.
- 3rd small assignment is related to Session No. 5 (Organisational Culture). It counts 10 points.
- 4th small assignment is Session No. 5 (Intercultural Management). It counts 10 points.
- 5th assignment is the Final Report. It has a dedicated tab. It counts 50 points.
