Schedule

The Moodle site will be opened on 24 March 2025.
The assignments must be handed in by 26 May 2025.

There will be two optional zoom lectures
3 April 2025 at 17.30 - 19.00
25 April 2025 at 17.30 - 19.00.

The zoom link will be given in Moodle.

Course grades will be given by 6 June 2025 at the latest.

Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

Depending on the implementation, learning takes place in contact lessons, as independent studies, teamwork and/or online-studies. The course includes the assessment of one’s own learning.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show their competence via a demonstration. The demonstration must be agreed with the course teacher. Intro

This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of work. You will learn various approaches to organisational development and how to apply them ethically. You will also explore new ways of organising and learn to drive positive change in your workplace

Course material available in Moodle.

Teaching methods and instruction

The implementation is based on independent study.
The learning methods are classic: reading, thinking, writing - as well as watching videos, observing organisational life and reflecting on own experiences in various organisations.
The implementation supports also the following meta-competencies: problem-solving skills and analytical and critical thinking.
Maximum number of students is 100.

Learning assignments

There are three main topics, and each of them have their own assignment:
1. Future of work > Mind map and a short written analysis.
2. Organisations and organising > Exam
3. Organisation development > Written report

Students submit the assignments and take the online exam on their own schedule between 24 March and 26 May.

Assessment methods

The maximum points for each of the assignments
1. Future of work > Mind map and a short written analysis: 30 points
2. Organisations and organising > Exam: 30 points
3. Organisation development > Written report: 40 points

The grade will be given based on the total points
90 - 100 points = grade 5
80 - 89 points = grade 4
70 - 79 points = grade 3
60 - 69 points = grade 2
50 - 59 points = grade 1
