Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

The first exam will be arranged on 14.10.2019 at at 10:00 other dates will be announced later

International participants from different nationalities
Business ideas may be about expanding businesses to foreign market
Business idea may be about developing services for foreign customers ( tourists)

Completion alternatives

Student with entreprenerual background may demonstrate own skills and may develop a business idea on his/her own
However, since this ia a Basic module, it is recommended that all students take it

Learning assignments

There will be five deliverables (assignments):
- The first is the Business Idea Fair report
- The second deliverable is an exam about analysis of basic tourism business environment
- The third deliverable is about cost and financial planning
- The fourth deliverable is a presentation in form of pitch
- The fifth deliverable is a final report including the Business Model Canvas

Assessment methods

- Assessment made by teachers
- Assessment made by external jury
- Self and peer assessment

Several things will be assessed
• business idea (new, innovative, creative, well-motivated value proposition)
• feasibility (realistic, backed up by statistics, well-defined target group)
• visual impression (presentation, materials, outfits)
• presentation and communication (logical, selling, interactive, fluent, stage presence)
• profitability (financial calculations, understanding the importance of profitability)
