Schedule
The course runs during the first period in autumn term 2021 starting on 26th of August 2021 and ending 15th of October. The course is a virtual one and all sessions are completed virtually. Course materials will be updated in Moodle as the course progresses.
Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study
Depending on the implementation, learning takes place in contact lessons, independent studies, individual work, group and peer discussions and assignments. The course includes the assessment of one’s own learning.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show their competence via a demonstration. The demonstration must be agreed with the course teacher. Learning assignments
1. HR- Legal Diversity and Inclusion Framework (40%)
Re-think the message concerning the implementation of diversity and inclusion startegies in the workplaces. Reflect the presentation of HR-recruiter, guest speaker . Then read three (3)of the four articles and make a max 5-minute video (you can choose the Software) in which you present your justified opinions about what is the importance of diversity and inclusion at workplaces. You can take different HR - related angles and justify your opinions.
2. HR-Legal Diversity and Inclusion Assessment Tools
Plan a legal and HR-diversity and inclusion assessment tool for a chosen company and it´s department. The tool means that you make sure that the essential elements of the demands are monitored and reflected in relevant ways. Think about the grey area between the demands of Acts and good practices and try to form an ethically sustainable way to implement this.
3: Participation in a discussion forum.
