The detailed course Schedule is published as the course starts on 6th of September. Course pages will be open from 6th of September - 17th of December (the course schedule is unusual, covering nearly whole autumn semester).
Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study
Depending on the implementation, learning takes place in contact lessons, independent studies, teamwork and online-studies. The course includes the assessment of one’s own learning.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show their competence via a demonstration. The demonstration must be agreed with the course teacher. Intro
Join us to explore different aspects of people management at strategic levels focusing on its role as an enabler of business success! The aim of the course is to give overview of current theories, models and responsibilities of HR both from HR function but also from organization perspective.

Learning assignments
The studies and learning assignments seek to mirror everyday business in corporations and other organisations. Course includes different kinds of learning assignments based on learning materials:

Assessment methods
Passed courses are assessed on a scale of 1 to 5. The assessment criteria are presented for grades 1, 3 and 5.
Grade 1
The student is able to identify some HRM trends, strategies and theories. She/he is able to define some of the HRM processes and to list and explain some elements of good people management. The student is partway able to explain how HRM is linked to business success.
Grade 3
In addition to the previous level, the student is able to apply different models to describe and analyze HRM processes and practices. The student is able to recommend suitable approaches and apply conceptual models for different situations.
Grade 5
In addition to the previous levels, the student is able to critically analyze people management processes, practices and trends. The student is able to compare and evaluate various models and development methods from different perspectives and apply them in the different types of contexts.
