Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

RPL - recognition of prior learning

Student can demonstrate the level of their prior learning. This must be completed in the beginning of the course. Contact the responsible teacher of the course for more information. The assessment is based on the demonstration by the student of their competence to meet the learning criteria and their knowledge on course content. Intro

This course gives you an opportunity to obtain the skills necessary to communicate with correct legal terminology in international business transactions. The course further provides you with an opportunity to learn about the different contract types used in international business transactions and familiarize yourself with their core content. On this course you will study how basic contractual risks are assessed in practical situations. Upon completion this course, you will be aware of the core content of GDPR and the essential IPRs in the business contract environment.

Classes include lecturing, class tasks, group works and possibly company visits.

This course has no exam but the grade is based on assignments.

Both subjects are based on international rules and practices.

You also have possibility to proceed in your studies by
- using recognition of prior learning (transfer crediting and demonstrations i.e. RPL); or
- using work-based learning during studies (Work & Study).

Learning assignments

The course includes 3-5 assignments which are evaluated. The deadlines and evaluation criteria of each assignment will be informed during the course.

Assessment methods

In this course the grade is based on collected points from the assignments. The maximum amount of points is 100 points, and for passing the course a student needs 40 points.

There is no possibility for upgrading or retaking assignments.

If you are absent more than 25% of the classes, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50%, the course is failed.
