Intro
This course gives you a strong base for other law studies. The course provides an opportunity to learn about the basic legal environment in which companies operate. You study basics of contract law, familiarize yourself with administration of companies, learn about the main Finnish rules based on EU legislation safeguarding consumers as well as key points on employment relationships both in respect of employees or managerial positions.
This course corresponds to the Finnish key competence course Yritysjuridiikka.

This course is held online and online lessons are according to Lukkari-schedule in Zoom. Link to Zoom in Moodle.
Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
There will be no final exam. Since there is no final exam there is no possibility of renewal.
Completion alternatives
RPL - recognizition of prior learning
Student can show the level of his/her prior learning. This has to be done in the beginning of the course. RPL will be evaluated by the responsible teacher (Pia Vapaavuori) and the criteria for the evaluation is how the student has been able to show that s/he meets the study goals and contents and what is the level of knowledge.
Learning assignments
During this course there will be 4 learning assignments that are graded 0-5. The timetable and instructions of the assignments will be announced during the first online meeting and Moodle.

All assignments are graded between 0-5.
