If you already meet the learning objectives of this course, you can demonstrate your knowledge. You can do this by taking the DEMO implementation, which you need to sign up for through PEPPI.
For your demonstration, you need to prepare a recorded presentation. The video should include the key concepts of coaching and leadership. In the video, you will need to combine theory and practice. Detailed instructions can be found on Moodle for the DEMO implementation.

Intro
Regardless of our role, we face situations where we need to lead people or the situation. In this course, you will study different different leadership theories and you will reflect how you can apply these theories in practice. In additions, coaching has a significant role in this course. You will develop your coaching skills which are essential in the modern organizations.

Teaching methods and instruction
This is a CONTACT implementation and the lectures are held at the Pasila Campus. You are expected to attend lectures regularly. If you have existing knowledge in this area, you may showcase your skills through a recognition of prior learning (RPL).
Working life connections
The course will also include lectures on leadership by representatives of working life.

This course can also be completed by demonstrating your competence. Before attempting the demonstration, please review the study guide. Learning assignments
In this course, you will engage in both independent and group assignments. The weight of each assignment varies and contributes differently to your final course grade. Active participation in lectures is required to achieve a good grade.
1. Independent assignment: Coaching report, mandatory, contributes 35% to your final grade.
2. Independent assignment: Leadership skills report, mandatory, contributes 35% to your final grade.
3. Team assignment: Mandatory, contributes 30% to your final grade.
To pass the course, you must achieve at least a grade of 1 in assignments 1, 2, and 3.
Assessment methods
Your final grade for this course will be based on individual assignments, group assignment and participation on the classroom activities. The course is graded on a scale from 0 to 5.
