Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study
Implementations: Contact, Blended, Online and DEMO.
If you already meet the learning objectives of this course, you can demonstrate your knowledge. You can do this by taking the DEMO implementation, which you need to sign up for through PEPPI.
If you complete the course through a competence demonstration (DEMO-implementation), the demonstration assignments are the following:
1. Recorded Presentation (40%)
Prepare a recorded presentation (10–15 minutes) to demonstrate your competence in the course’s subject areas. Both the presentation content/slides and the presenter must be visible simultaneously during the entire presentation. The video must also be subtitled. You also need to connect your knowledge to relevant theoretical frameworks/knowledge bases.
2. Reflection of Learning and Competence Development (60%)
Write a reflective assignment about your personal learning process and competence development in the areas of teamwork and project management. You may base your reflection on prior work experience, academic study, independent learning, or a combination of these. Connect your reflection to theoretical frameworks and explain how your knowledge has developed.
Intro
Without people there is no business. On this course, you will learn how organizational structures, culture and people management affect teams and employees in multicultural, international organizations. You will discover elements and practices of organizing, managing and leading a diverse workforce with an ethical, inclusive and sustainable mindset. This course will enable you to learn what constitutes responsible culture and people management in a multicultural environment.
Teaching methods and instruction
This is a DEMO-implementation for students who already have the knowledge and skills taught on the course. The course does not have tuition, teaching or classes.
Please enrol in this course if you are participating in a demonstration. After you enrol, your teacher will approve your enrolment. Once approved, you will gain access to the Moodle environment, where you will find detailed instructions for the demonstration.
The DEMO course competence demonstration includes two parts:
1. Competence Portfolio (40%)
You can choose to make either: a written text (5–7 pages), or a video (10–12 minutes).
In the portfolio, you select some of the course themes and show your knowledge by giving your own examples and reflections. You also need to connect your knowledge to relevant theoretical frameworks/knowledge bases.
2. Personal Competence Interview (60%)
This is a 30–40 minute interview with the teacher. In the interview, you will discuss other course themes so that your full competence can be shown. You also need to use and explain theoretical frameworks to support your arguments and examples.
Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
This DEMO-implementation doesn't include an exam, so re-exams are not possible.
Assessment methods
The demonstration is graded on a scale from 0 to 5. The evaluation method used is an evaluation rubric.
You are allowed to participate in the demonstration only once. Please note that once you receive a grade for your demonstration, it cannot be improved. If you receive an '0' (fail), you have the option to enroll in the contact, online or blended implementations. In cases where you receive a grade of 1 or 2, the teacher will consult with you to decide whether you accept the grade or prefer to enroll in the contact, online or blended implementations.
