Course week #1
- Week's 1st class content: Course Introduction, Preparation for project briefing: What do we already know about the commissioning company? What else should we know?
- Week's 2nd class content: project briefing by the commissioning company
Course week #2
- Both classes content: project work with facilitated workshops, team coaching
Course week #3
- Both classes content: project work with facilitated workshops, team coaching
Course week #4
- Week's 1st class content: mid-reporting dress rehearsal for all the teams, improving presentation materials based on coaches' and other teams' feedback
- Week's 2nd class content: mid-report presentations for the commissioning company
Course week #5
- Both classes content: project work with facilitated workshops, team coaching
Course week #6
- Both classes content: project work with facilitated workshops, team coaching
Course week #7
- Week's 1st class content: project work with facilitated workshops, team coaching
- Week's 2nd class content: final project report dress rehearsal for all the teams, improving presentation materials based on coaches' and other teams' feedback
Course week #8
- Week's 1st class content: final project presentations for the commissioning company (additionally, each team gives the created material package to the customer)
- Week's 2nd class content: no class, but students work individually on their "Self" - and "Team- and project -outcome" assignments
Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study
Students will work in teams to implement a real life client project related to the internationalization efforts of an SME as part of this module. Students are expected to assume entrepreneurial responsibility for the client projects from start to finish. Teachers will act as coaches in the student's learning processes.
As an alternative, a student can choose two courses from the Degree Programme in International Business offering, namely, 'Strategic Sourcing' 5cr and 'Developing SCM' 5cr.
RPL: If the student has acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, she/he can show the competence with a demonstration and progress faster through the studies.
Materials
All learning materials are provided by the teachers during the course either by Moodle documents or alternatively, as hand-outs.
Teaching methods and instruction
Students work in teams for a project commissioned by a real company in a go-to-market scenario. The exact scope and focus of the project is dependent on commissioning company's needs and demands. Teachers consult and facilitate students teams work and help ensuring the success of the project.

Course is built around a real company acting as a commissioner of a real-life project.

Course does not include an examination.

Completion alternatives
RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) can be offered, if the student has acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, she/he can show the competence with a demonstration and progress faster through the studies.
Learning assignments
As a team member (50 % weight in the final course grade):
- Various reports and material is created for the commissioning company. This documentation and is form is defined by the commissioning company's project and needs once the course begins.
Additionally, each student's compulsory individual assignments (50 % weight in the final course grade):
- Individual learning reflection report.
- Team- and project outcome assessment.
- Active contribution to the process & project management including attendance to the lessons & coaching as well as team work.

As this course builds around a project, various project related items combine the elements of student's assessment:
- Content and quality of the reports, other materials (50 %)
- Self-, team- and project outcome assessment (20 %)
- Active contribution to the process & project management including attendance (15 %)
- Presentations and materials created and used (15 %)
