Contact hours (3 h/week, during which 80% attendance is required): pair and team assignments, team discussions, oral presentations

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

There's no final exam. If a student does not do all the assignments or does not pass them and gather enough points to pass the course, he/she has to do the assignments in a later time. Since this is a spoken language course, the assignments and timing to do them have to be agreed with the teacher. In such case, please, contact the teacher.

Assessment methods

Continuous assessment 40 %
Regular and active participation is crucial to your progress. Coming in time, being prepared, doing activities, answering questions and speaking Finnish as much as possible are all part of the continuous demonstration of your language skills.

NB! When the implementation type of the course is contact, online or blended it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25%, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50%, the course is failed.
