Schedule

- contact classes on Wednesdays and Fridays at 14:00 - 15:30 in Pasila campus.
- See the Moodle for exact places. The classes are planned to be in classroom PA/1010 (Wednesdays and Fridays) in the first period, and in classroom PA/3001 (Wednesdays) and PA/3009 (Fridays) in the second period.

DEMO tests for Finnish courses will be organized four times a year. Ask the teacher for the exact dates. The test contains both written and oral part. The test will be done at school campus.

Hei ja tervetuloa! Welcome to a journey to Finnish language and culture! You will learn to pronounce Finnish and communicate in some simple everyday situations. By actively participating in classes and studying at home, you will create a solid basis for further Finnish studies.

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

- First supervised written assignment ("midterm test") on Wed 26.10.2022 at 14:00 at Pasila Campus.
- Second supervised written assignment ("final test") on Wed 7.12.2022 at 14:00 at Pasila Campus.

- Students, who want to improve their grade after the course, can take a re-test. You have two attempts within half a year after the course has ended. Ask your teacher for the dates.

Internationality

The course is conducted in BBA programs with a mix of international students. Also, the Finnish language and culture taught in the course will expand your knowledge of internationality.

Completion alternatives

- continuous assessment in class, based on your skills shown in oral and written exercises and on your results in daily quizzes and homework. 30 %
