Intro
In this course you will study the basics of Sustainable Development and climate change as well as understand the needed societal transformation to a carbon neutral society and a sustainable future. You will also reflect sustainable well-being. Can sustainability and life satisfaction be achieved together?
Materials
Course material will be available in Moodle including relevant literature. Handouts delivered by teachers
Material provided by external lecturers.
Teaching methods and instruction
Student will attend series of lessons (total five times) during 31.8.2021-28.9.2021 and complete case work during the course. Contact teaching will be organized as a hybrid, including both classroom teaching in Pasila campus and online teaching, still taking account current instructions of Covid-19.

Internationality
This course will be piloted as a part of SuFi-project with international cooperation together with partners from Åland, Estonia and Liethuania. The project is funded by EU Interreg Central Baltic funds.

Case work and other assignments related to course content will be returned to Moodle
Assessment methods
Students' performance is graded on the following scale: Excellent (5), Very good (4), Good (3), Satisfactory (2), Fair (1), Fail (0).
All tasks must be completed with at least grade 1.
