Intro

Come and help design the Startup School of the future co-taught by American visitor Sian Christie from St. Olaf College!

In this hands-on, intensive course, you will work in multicultural teams to develop a vision for Haaga-Helia's Startup School that truly meets the needs of international students. Through design thinking tools and field research, you will create, test and pitch inclusive and human-centered solutions for the Startup School’s future.

Introduction to Design Thinking and entrepreneurial mindset
Team formation and trust-building activities
Field assignments and user research (e.g. scavenger hunt, interviews)

Working life connections

The course is led by Haaga-Helia senior lecturer Antti Leppilampi & visitor lecturer Sian Chriestie from USA, St Olaf College.

Assignments during the course will include visits to local shopping mall to get ideas to develop the Startup School
