Intro
This course gives an introduction on the practicalities of the financial considerations while planning or implementing a business. The goal is to help you to navigate through the components of needed investment and needed calculation for good business planning and implementation.
Materials
Material include some PPT slides, Videos, and Excel Templates and tables
Teaching methods and instruction
This course is completely Virtual. Participants are provided with different material, tools, videos etc. Participants are expected to complete a short learning assignment aiming at practicing how to use excel to do some simple financial forecasting.
After completing and submission of the assignment, participant will get 1 credit.

Learning assignments
The assignment consists of practicing financial forecasting by using an available excel template.
Participants are required to fill in the financing statement which should be filled in with all the investments and operating expenses required to start a business.
Second, they also should fill in the income statement and profitability calculation.
which shows how much the entrepreneur needs to sell to make his own business profitable. Lastly, the template contains a table on cash flow statement which helps the entrepreneur to ensure that he/she always has enough money in the bank account to pay the bills.

Fail: Lack of submission of the filled excel tables
