Schedule

The course will be held between 28.03.-19.05.2023, lectures on Wednesdays and Fridays. See detailed schedule in Moodle.

Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

This course may be completed by either:
a. participating in contact lessons and completing the tasks given as either daytime, evening, or intensive implementations OR
b. by participating in a working life project or another project OR
c. by taking an exam and/or turning in the learning assignments OR
d. by showing the requisite skills as acquired at work OR e. by taking part in a network-based course.

A self (and peer) assessment will be required for completion of the course.

Materials

There is no course book in this course. All course materials are available in Moodle.

Teaching methods and instruction

This implementation consists of mandatory lectures, in-class activities, individual assignments and group exercises.

During the course:
-Student learns to utilize existing methods, tools, and technologies to design a digital service
-Student learns how to use different desktop/online tools and cloud services in digital service development
-Student learns the state-of-the-art technologies in digital service design

Working life connections

Possible guest lectures and working life collaboration/connections in the project work.

Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

There is no exam in this implementation.

Internationality

The course is targeted for international students, which provides participants possibilities for intercultural collaboration.

International learning materials and cases are used as part of the course references.

Completion alternatives

This course may be completed by either:
a. participating in contact lessons and completing the tasks given as daytime implementation, OR
b. by participating in a working life project or another project, OR
d. by showing the requisite skills as acquired.

A self-assessment will be required for completion of the course.

The course consists of the following learning activities:
-Hands-on exercises
-Presentations
-Project work in groups of 3-5 students
-Discussion, lectures
-Working life connections/collaboration

Assessment methods

The grade consists of the following components:
-participation in the course activities and lectures
-individual submissions (Individual Learning Portfolio)
-team submission (Team Web Portfolio)
