Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study
The objectives of the course can be achieved by

Intro
Welcome to start designing digital services such as web pages in a professional way. On this course, you will learn the basics of digital services, their user-centered design and implementation (html5 and css). You will make a light-weight web user interface from idea to publication.
Materials
Material includes articles, videos and literature tips.
World-class online learning environments are used in coding.
Teaching methods and instruction
Content of the course covers three (3) main topics:
1) Digitalization (big picture)
2) Digital service design (user centered design)
3) Basics of HTML & CS (website coding)
Each topic includes keynotes, personal information search and project work. Collaborative learning is used in several phases.
This online course includes weekly online meetings (keynotes, reviews and workshops).
Working life connections
Visitors from various industries and organizations (live and / or recordings)
Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
No exam, assessment is based on exercises.

This online implementation has been divided into five (5) phases. Each phase includes an assignment:
1) Trend analysis
2) Digital service design excercise
3) Website design
4) Coding of website
5) Testing
Assessment methods
Grade 1
The student recognizes a digital service, knows the basics of user experience, usability and accessibility. Is able to design and develop a web user interface under guidance. The student understands the significance of digital service analysis.
Grade 3
The student recognizes the potential of a digital service, understands the significance of user experience, usability and accessibility. Is able to independently design and develop a web user interface. The student is able to analyze a digital service.
Grade 5
The student is able to utilize effectively the potential of a digital service, utilizes user experience, usability and accessibility in an effective way. Is able to independently design and develop a high-quality web user interface. The student is able to analyze a digital service in a professional manner.
