In this course, previous documented ERP experience is needed for Recognition of learning.
Intro
On this course, it is possible to get familiar with business processes with the most used ERP-system.
Enterprise Resource Systems are in central role with both large and smaller enterprises. After the completion of this course, you can use SAP ERP system in handling orders, deliveries, invoices, warehouse functions and accounting.
Materials
All the learning materials will be provided and offered in or through course's Moodle learning environment. SAP S/4 Hana’s Fiori web GUI and MS Dynamics are used at this course as dedicated ERP systems. Each student is given their own user IDs and case companies in which assignments, case studies and tests are executed.
Teaching methods and instruction
Both contact (classroom) and virtual contact (Zoom) classes. One session of classes weekly through semester (2 academic periods). A more detailed weekly schedule is provided to students once the course starts.
Working life connections
ERP is taught through both in SAP’s and Microsoft’s case through company simulations in which both companies’ knowledge and experience as global ERP leaders is provided for students’ usage.
Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
There are several tests, but no exams and thus, no re-exam provided. All tests are scheduled for a class and they must be taken by each student on the particular given date without a re-completion opportunity.
Internationality
International case environments are used ERP enterprise resource management learning.
Completion alternatives
RPL (recognition for prior learning) can be considered. Student should be able to provide certificates and /or diplomas for both SAP and MS Dynamics to be considered for RPL.
Learning assignments
All case studies and tests are individual work for student. There are several ERP case studies (assignments) which must be completed individually in given schedule. These case studies fall into various operational areas of global business processes such as procurement, sales, distribution and finance.
Assessment methods
Completion of compulsory individual case studies and assignments.
Passing the related ERP tests.
