Teaching methods and instruction

Working life connections

This implementation includes also a Language Project (2/5 ECTS). You can complete the project in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, French, Swedish, German or Russian by your own choice. Language Project is a great opportunity to show and sell your knowledge and special expertise in a foreign language. Language projects can be completed individually, in pairs or in a small group. As a student you need to search for a project topic that can be:
- Producing new material for the client (marketing, communication, HR etc.)
- Working for a seminar/workshop/other event (planning, implementing something, hosting guests etc.).
- Written translation work (only for very fluent students and normally from a foreign language into the mother tongue).
- Working as an interpreter/translator in a meeting(s).
- Other work that has something to do with the client’s international strategy or communications.

Internationality

The course focuses on the European Union and discusses the career opportunities it offers for administrative professionals.

Completion alternatives

RPL plan to be presented to the Lecturer two weeks prior to the start of the course. The student is to present a viable and relevant written plan on how to manifest the prior acquisition of the learning outcomes of this course. The Lecturer will judge if the plan is acceptable.
