The student is able to communicate professionally and responsibly both orally and in writing, according to the demands of specific situations and audiences
The student is able to use different communication methods, channels and platforms professionally
The student is able to identify own competence level and is able to market own competencies convincingly
The student is able to interact with others, give and also receive feedback professionally and respectfully in various intercultural environments
The student is able to critically evaluate different communication sources, their operating practices and motives as well as the different responsibilities connected to the information they convey
This course is a part of all Haaga-Helia's degrees and the student can participate in any implementation. This implementation is specifically aimed at students of the EXPER Hospitality and Tourism Exeprience Management degree.

Assessment methods

Passing the course requires commitment to the assignment work and contact sessions. The grade is based on the assignments (80%) and on the student’s own commitment and attitude, as well as in-class participation (20%).
