Teaching methods and instruction
Upon successful completion of this course, the student
• understands the trends that are ongoing in BI business and technology fields
• understands the relevance of business intelligence for an enterprise
• understand the analyses process
• is able to use several BI applications to build data models, request data, clean up data, do ETL, visualize, report and publish analyses
• is able to apply data analyses in a business environment (e.g. simulation game)
• understands the generic BI architecture and concepts around it
• is able to use some tools to analyze Bigdata, descriptive data and predictive data
