This is the renewed business intelligence course - 5 cr. It is now setup as a non-stop e-learning approach with the possibility for support in class.
The - predecessor - original course developed in 2013 has now been split up in 5cr + 5cr instead of the old 6 cr. The 2 courses build on a Business Intelligence Framework, stressing the importance of creating business value, valuing the strategy alignment, imposing the importance of BI-maturity understanding and suggests the need for a more agile approach to BI-development life cycles. Upon successful completion of the courses, the student understands the importance of Business Intelligence in today’s competitive business environment. Due to extensive use of top class BI-tools, hands on labs, tutorials and a practical business case the student will also gain skills in using market leading BI tools for BI-development as well as for analyzing business information and data.
