Intro
R is one of the most popular and complete statistical software for data analysis. Being an open-source software is what makes R a widely-used program among academic institutions, international organizations and research centers. In this intensive course you will learn the fundamental steps of importing, cleaning and elaborating different types of data sources.
Materials
Students should install two pieces of software in to their own computers: 1) R, the actual programming language (https://cran.r-project.org) and 2) RStudio, an excellent IDE for working with R (https://www.rstudio.co m). You must install R before using RStudio.
Teaching methods and instruction
