Intro
Development belongs to each and every one in the organizations. During this course you will learn the basics of research and development methods. You will also learn about scientific research methods and tools for ideation, innovation and development. The primary aim is not to turn you in to professional researcher - but you will learn how to create surveys, recognize different types of interviews and how to analyze the data you have gathered. After completing this course, you will be able to apply your new skills in working life situations as well as start your thesis in Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

Teaching methods and instruction
This course is a part of all Haaga-Helia's Bachelor's degrees, and the student can participate in any implementation. This implementation is only for students of the Lemonde degree.
The course includes online teaching via Zoom and independent work guided in Moodle.

Assessment methods
Assignments 1-8 accumulate 5 points each, a maximum of 40 points in total. The comprehensive task 9 for the course is assessed on a scale of 0 - 60 points. Task 10 is assessed as passed (done) or failed (not done).
The themes open by completing the assignments with a passing grade. A passing grade in assignments 1-8 is 1 point. Notice that assignments 1 and 3-8 have an unlimited number of attempts, and you can complete them until you are satisfied with your score (max 5 points).
All assignments must be completed to pass the course.
The overall course grade is formed based on the total points accumulated during the course.
