Intro

In this course, you will learn to analyze data sets using Excel's Business Intelligence tools. You will retrieve external tables with queries and transform their content into versatile diagrams and map presentations. You will also learn to build Excel's data model and use Power Pivot. Additionally, you will become familiar with the reporting capabilities offered by the Power BI Desktop program.

Assessment methods

Assessment criteria - grade 1
The student shows a basic understanding of Excel's common features and analysis tools. They can import and modify data in Excel under guidance, construct guided data models, and create simple dashboards for data analysis based on them.

Assessment criteria - grade 3
The student shows proficiency in Excel's basic features and fundamental analysis tools. They are capable of importing and formatting data in Excel, constructing simple data models, and using them to analyze data effectively.

Assessment criteria - grade 5
The student shows exceptional command of Excel's core features and key analysis tools. They adeptly utilize Excel's functionalities and techniques to a high degree. Additionally, they can proficiently source, import, and format data from diverse origins into Excel, construct advanced data models, and generate versatile dashboards for comprehensive data analysis.
