Learning objectives
After completing the course, the student understands how good business ideas are generated, and how they are evaluated and tested. The student researches opportunities, solutions, needs, or anything else to ease a client’s life, and develops possible business ideas based on them. The student sets out to design their own idea or joins a team, and together draft an action plan for the idea, according to which the team sets out to implement the idea. The student identifies an entrepreneurial mindset, their own competencies and entrepreneurial skills, and analyses what strengths and competencies they can provide to the team.
Starting level and linkage with other courses
The course has no prerequisites. The student may have a preliminary business idea(s), or they will create an idea(s) with the team, which they will analyse, evaluate and work on during the course.

Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria - grade 1
The student reflects on their own mindset and attitude towards entrepreneurship and is able to assess the need for change in their own thinking. The student is able ideate, analyse ideas, and choose the most feasible one. They are able to describe the idea and develop it based on the feedback going forward.
Assessment criteria - grade 3
The student analyzes his or her own mindset, attitude, and entrepreneurship as a career option. The student is able to brainstorm and evaluate ideas systematically. They describe, develop and modify the idea alone or together with other team members, and test the idea with potential clients. The student takes feedback into account and develops their idea based on the feedback to be more functional from a business perspective.
