Professional Work Placement - Opinto-opas

After the work placement, students are able to
• identify and evaluate their own professional strengths and areas for development from the perspective of expertise in their field
• act in accordance with the rules of the work community
• evaluate the activities of the organisation and, if necessary, make justified development proposals
• continuously develop and update skills required at work as well as study and career plans

Professional studies or equivalent competences.

Work placement can be completed in a suitable Finnish or international company, public entity or other suitable organisation, such as various associations or non-profit organisations. The student can also work as an entrepreneur in his/her own company. Work placement can also be completed abroad.

This Professional Work Placement implementation is for those of you who complete 15 or 30 ects (400 hrs or 800 hrs) of ICT-related work placement during a continuous period. To get the credits,
1) Fill out the form Basic information on professional work placement in Moodle
2) Testimonial from your employer indicating the duration of your employment; your tasks; and your employer's contact info & signature.
3) In addition, write a report and submit it to Moodle.
4) Send an email to Liila Mäntylä Peuralinna that you have uploaded your report and testimonial.
