## Delivery Methods

Course material language is english. Course teaching language is english on finnish depending on implementation.

Course is delivered by utilizing some of the applicable methods from the rough outline below (depending if it is contact or online implementation):

- Hands-on Laboratories
- Self Study
- Individual and/or Group Assignments
- Exam

## Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning will be evaluated on student basis. Content of RPL delivery will be designed together with the student, but typically RPL includes following components:

- Student provides the corresponding valid AWS/Azure Certification (AZ-104/SAA-C03)
- Student prepares and delivers 30 minute lecture to class about topic agreed with teacher
- Student passes course exam

Intro

After completing the course, the student knows cloud computing architectures and applications.
Full AWS Academy Cloud Solution Architect Associate Certification Preparation Course with access to AWS Digital Certification materials and labs. At completion of the course students are offered one 50% discount voucher for AWS Cloud Solution Architect certification.

Teaching methods and instruction

This is Online implementation. This is very demanding course for the learners!

All materials and teaching is in english.

Work load for the course is 270h of studies. Learning activities have following hourly estimations:

- 10h General Activities
- 180h Studies (+/- 40h)
- 40h Laboratories
- 40h Project/Person (+/- 40h)

It is possible to get score between 0 and 150 from this course. These are the learning tasks that contribute to the total score:

Exam (Score 0-50)
Study Involvement (Score 0-10)
Study Notes (Score 0-20)
Laboratories (Score 0-20)
Project (Score 0-50)

Project is either documentative or practical.

Exam is typically single and multiple choice questions, but might contain essay questions.

This course as a whole is graded according to 50% grading. 50% of maximum result from the Final Evaluaton is required to pass the course.

0-49% of max score = Grade 0 (Fail)
50-60% of max score = Grade 1 (Learning Opportunity, Opportunity for Improvement)
61-70% of max score = Grade 2 (Satisfactory)
71-80% of max score = Grade 3 (Good)
81-90% of max score = Grade 4 (Very good)
91-100% of max score = Grade 5 (Excellent)
